Day 1: ( Wednesday) Starts from Zurich with stops at Lucerne Center ( Kappelerbridge ), Lungern Lake, Mountain Brunig Summit, Brienzwiler, Interlaken. Drop off at the accomodation of your choice, either in Brienzwiler or in Interlaken.

If you are able to spend two days for the Bernese Oberland, so you should decide to visit Jungfraujoch. Check your travel guide. This is a MUST DO!

Space in the bus is limited! We are not able to carry bikes, skis or other large items!
There is also a one day tour option for those who want to stay at Interlaken for a couple of days. Please ask when you make your reservation.

Interlaken & Bernese Oberland bus and coach tours Print E-mail

Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are situated in Bernese Oberland and best seen from the top of Schilthorn.

Day 1: ( Wednesday) Starts from Zurich with stops at Lucerne Center ( Kappelerbridge ), Lungern Lake, Mountain Brunig Summit, Brienzwiler, Interlaken. Drop off at the accomodation of your choice, either in Brienzwiler or in Interlaken.

Day 2: ( Thursday) Pick up at your accomodation in Interlaken (see time schedule on the back) heading up to Lauterbrunnen ( Jungfraujoch), Stechelberg ( Schilthorn ). For those neither visting Jungfraujoch nor Schilthorn, there is an option to visit the world famous Trümmelbachfalls ( inside a mountain) and / or have a easy walk back from Stechelberg to the Restaurant and Souvenirshop in front of the falls. Early in the afternoon, we are making our way back to Zurich through an breathtaking scenery along Lake Brienz. We will be back in Zurich between 5 to 6 pm where you will be brought back to the pick up points.

Appenzell Cheese Country bus tour Print E-mail

Tour starts from Zurich , follows the lake, Ricken Pass, Kronberg, Appenzell. Returns across Gossau, Wil, Highway to Zurich.
Appenzell is said to have to shortest inhabitants. So watch your head when you enter a building, because there architecture is made to fit the Appenzellers only ;-)

Highlights on this tour:


09.00 am: Start from Zurich
10.00 am: Photobreak on Ricken summit
11.00 am: arriving at Kronberg. Here we will spend about 45 minutes.  Time for those doing the bobrun, coffeebreak for the others.

11.45 am: We will reach the peak of Kronberg. If the weather is right, we can do some walking, light a fire to fry sausages. Should it be a rainy day, we still can have our photoshooting and having lunch at the Restaurant.

14.00 pm Downhill to Jakobsbad. If we choosed a rainy day, we can start earlier and use the additional time for a longer stroll at Appenzell instead.

15.00 pm Arriving in Appenzell.

16.00 pm Leaving to the small village of Stein where the Cheese Factory is settled.

17.00 pm around: Back to Zurich where we will arrive between 18.30 / 19.00 PM

 

 

 

To whom is this tour recommended?

This tour is for all these travellers recommend, which are keen to explore Switzerland on a shoestring. You don't have to be a an excellent walker! But it is necessary to bring a minimum on condition, which means to be able to walk 60 to 90 minutes without longer breaks. The mountain we visit does not belong to the highest of Switzerland, but is settled in the the real rural nature and off the beaten track! Frienly people, small farms on steep grassfields, refreshing drinks in tiny alp-huts... all this garantees you an unforgettable outdoor day!

Weatherconditions in the mountains can change very quickly. Take good walkingshoes, raincoat, suncream and a hat with you!

Engelberg Titlis for backpacker by bus Print E-mail

This tour starts also from Zurich (see pick up where & when). It's a good idea to be early on top of Titlis. That's why we will drive straight to Engelberg. Still we can have short stops on the way for photoshooting or having a smoke.
Titlis‘ summit station is on 3020 m. Make sure to carry suncream, windjacket, sunglasses and hat! Spectacular glacier scenery !

Highlights on Titlis itself:

    1. Central Switzerland highest lookout
    2. resolving ( rotating) cablecar
    3. Glacier
    4. Ice flyer chairlift
